Summary:

On September 20, 2014, at 18:10 local time, the glider (Mosquito) with registration SX-123 of “Athens Gliding Club” was flying to the area of Tatoi airport (LGTT). While it was in the process to perform the downwind leg of the runway 21, it performed a descent in the area between the runway and the taxiway, with result the collision of left wing of the glider to a web at the top of which there were meteorological instruments of the airport. Then the glider crushed to the ground, with serious injury of pilot.
