Summary:

On Wednesday the 9th of December 2015 a CESSNA 172M aircraft with registration SX-ACO with three (3) persons on board departed from Arachthos airfield with destination the airport of Megara (LGMG). Reaching Megara ATZ at a height of 1500 ft and 2,5 nm S/SW of the airport, the above mentioned aircraft lost separation and came at a close distance with a PIPER PA28-161 aircraft with registration SX-ARA with two (2) persons on board which has departed from Megara airport. The first aircraft performed a RH manoeuvre in order to avoid the collision with the second aircraft.
